Strawberry Crumble Parfait

Just like every closet should have a little black dress, every fridge should have California strawberries; which happen to be in peak season and readily available right now (and when local strawberries are off-season!). California strawberries [#AD] are your MUST-HAVE food fashion accessory. Dress them up or leave them au natural – think fancy desserts, cocktails, salads, appetizers or keep it simple and eat them as they come for a no-fuss healthy snack.

This strawberry crumble parfait is a cinch to whip up and provides plenty of opportunity for artistic interpretation. Layers of creamy icelandic vanilla yogurt bring the protein, while the granola topping, bananas and diced strawberries provide sweetness, crunch and fibre. Top the parfait with a dollop of yogurt, granola sprinkles, and decorate with a few pistachios and a beautiful sliced strawberry.
