Ingredients
  • 4-6 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
  • 2 cups salsa or pico de gallo
  • 4 Tbsp Taco Seasoning
  • DIY TACO SEASONING
  • 3 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp crushed red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp cumin
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
  1. Add chicken, salsa and taco seasoning to the slow cooker.
  2. Set on high and cook for 4 hours.
  3. Once cooked, shred the chicken with 2 forks and it will pull apart easily to mix with the salsa and seasoning.
  4. Assemble as tacos or a salad based on the vegetables and ingredients you have on hand.
